, Sandoval has always sturck me as the type of guy who would slack off if he got big guaranteed money. I think the Giants would have been better off to pay him through arbitration for the next three years.

Go for Youk over Aramis. I think you are on the right track with your offer. If he doesnt acepct, I’d even step it up to Latos/Young and try to get a decent throw in from him maybe a closer or top set-up guy like Clippard or Bard if he has them.
